May 2 – 10, 2019
9-day Intermediate Level Course
Led by Venerable Lobsang Namgyel
In this course we will learn how we can work with and relate to our emotions, thus helping us to decrease the harmful and disturbing emotions which prevent our mind from experiencing peace and happiness. To do this, we need to understand the mind, and how afflictive emotions are separable from the mind. Once we understand this, we can start to change our perception of the world and our reactions to whatever we experience.
During this course there will be teachings and meditations from a Buddhist psychology perspective, which will follow the content of the FPMT’s Discovering Buddhism module number 9 “Samsara and Nirvana”.
