Guru Puja for the Swift Return of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche

Hybrid Event: In-Person & Online

On April 13, at 9:30 a.m. Nepal time, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, our most precious guru and spiritual director, entered his final meditation.
For 49 days we are doing continuous practices for the swift return of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

For Rinpoche’s students – feel welcome to join every day practices from 4:30 to 5:30pm in person at Tushita. We will alternate between the Eight Prayers at the Time of Death, Tara prayers, recitation of the Five Great Texts and 108 Names of Manjushri.

Every Wednesday we will do a special Guru Puja – everybody is welcome to join in person at Tushita and online on Youtube.

Also, every Wednesday morning to early afternoon there will be special prayers performed in Tibetan by the Gyume monks.

Please note, the times might change on short notice!
Donations & offerings always welcome!

About Tushita

Tushita is a centre for the study and practice of Buddhism from the Tibetan Mahayana tradition. We're located in Northern India, in the forested hills above the town of McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala - the seat in exile of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

Tushita aims to provide a friendly and conducive environment for people of all nationalities and backgrounds to learn about and put into practice the teachings of the Buddha. With this in mind we offer regular drop-in events and courses on introductory Buddhist philosophy and meditation, as well as intermediate level courses and group retreats for more experienced students.
