Tushita’s Review Sessions provide an excellent opportunity to discuss and explore some potentially difficult topics that His Holiness taught on that day. They will be helpful for new and experienced students of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy who would like to enhance their understanding and practice.
The sessions will include not only explanations, but also Q&A, meditations, discussions and many tips, how to make the most of this rare and precious opportunity of receiving teachings by His Holiness.
You can join us on Zoom Meeting or Tushita’s Facebook page. For those who cannot make it live the recordings will be available on Youtube. (There is a limited capacity in the Zoom meeting, so in case you would not be able to connect, please follow us live on the Facebook page)

Description
His Holiness often comments that among the eighteen volumes of collected works by Lama Tsongkhapa, this text, the Essence of Eloquence, is his favorite. The Essence of Eloquence opens with the famous verse in which the Buddha admonishes his followers to rely on reason, like a goldsmith analyzing gold, to discern what is true rather than blindly believing what He says out of faith.
It then goes on to distinguish which among the sutras, Buddha’s own words, expressly teach the ultimate view of reality, and which teach other views of reality in order to gradually lead seekers of varying dispositions to realize the ultimate view.
During these lectures His Holiness will only have time to touch on a few of the main points made in this and Arya Candrakirti’s text, Entering the Middle Way, which we will try to clearly hold in mind and resolve some doubts through review.
