Praise to the 17 Nalanda Masters is a prayer composed by His Holiness expressing the uncommon qualities and kindness of each of the main Buddhist masters from ancient Nalanda University. It emphasizes the importance of basing one’s beliefs on sound reasoning acquired through study.
The Three Principle Aspect of the Path is a moving prayer by Lama Tsongkhapa which focuses on the three most essential qualities to develop on the spiritual path: renunciation of frivolous attachments, great compassion devoted to the welfare of other sentient beings, and wisdom understanding emptiness through the reason of interdependent arising.
Tushita does NOT organize or host His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Online Teachings (we wish!) – please visit His Holiness’ own website for further information.
Tushita’s Review Sessions provide an excellent opportunity to discuss and explore some potentially difficult topics that His Holiness taught on that day. They will be helpful for new and experienced students of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy who would like to enhance their understanding and practice.
The sessions will include not only explanations, but also Q&A, meditations, discussions and many tips, how to make the most of this rare and precious opportunity of receiving teachings by His Holiness.
You can join us on Zoom Meeting or Tushita’s Facebook page. For those who cannot make it live the recordings will be available on Youtube. (There is a limited capacity in the Zoom meeting, so in case you would not be able to connect, please follow us live on the Facebook page)
