Bouncing Back
March 7, 2022 @ 4:00 pm (IST)
Life can bring us challenges, and sometimes we have the feeling that these are bigger than we can handle. The last two years particularly have been challenging for most of us. We have been experiencing the first noble truth the Buddha taught, which is that life is in the nature of suffering. Sickness and deaths were headlines almost every day. We might have experienced loss – of a loved one, our income, or our carrier. We might have been uncomfortable with the way our life has changed, and the lack of control we had in this. Or we might be longing for the good old days, knowing that this won’t come back. It might be difficult to stay positive and to know how to move forward from this in a healthy way.
How do we bounce back from adverse circumstances? In this talk we’ll look at some of the techniques that Tibetan Buddhism offers that can help us to have a positive attitude and outlook with respect to our own situation and the world.
