Celebrate the Days of Miracles with 9 Amazing Teachers

January 2021

Happy New Year to all of our dear friends from India & around the world!

Tushita starts the 2021 season with an extra special online event on February 12th, the Tibetan New Year (Losar)!

The following 15 Days of Miracles, culminating in the full moon day of Chotrul Düchen, mark the anniversary of Buddha Shakyamuni performing various miracles in Sravasti in order to subdue arrogance and inspire faith in the Buddha Dharma.

This time period is considered extremely auspicious for practice – the results of any virtuous activities on each of the 15 days are increased 100 million times!

We warmly welcome you to celebrate the Days of Miracles with 9 amazing teachers joining us online from different parts of India & around the world!!

Serkong Tsenshab Rinpoche
Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo
Geshe Lhakdor
Geshe Tenzin Zopa

Let’s create skies of merit together and hopefully we can welcome each teacher again for a special course or retreat during the upcoming season. Online or in person – stay tuned to find out soon!

On the auspicious day of Chotrul Düchen we also present you & your loved ones with the unique opportunity to offer a butter lamp with your special dedication in this holy place!

About Tushita

Tushita is a centre for the study and practice of Buddhism from the Tibetan Mahayana tradition. We're located in Northern India, in the forested hills above the town of McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala - the seat in exile of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

Tushita aims to provide a friendly and conducive environment for people of all nationalities and backgrounds to learn about and put into practice the teachings of the Buddha. With this in mind we offer regular drop-in events and courses on introductory Buddhist philosophy and meditation, as well as intermediate level courses and group retreats for more experienced students.
