Happy Chökhor Düchen to all of our dear friends from India & around the world!
Lhabab Düchen on November 15th marks the last wheelturning day in the Tibetan Buddhist Calendar of 2022!
On this auspicious occasion we celebrate Shakyamuni Buddha’s descent from the God Realm of the Thirty-Three, after giving Dharma teachings for several months to the gods and his mother, Mayadevi.
We warmly welcome you to join our special all day hybrid program – in person at Tushita or online!
On Lhabab Düchen we also present you & your loved ones with the unique opportunity to offer a butter lamp with your special dedication in this holy place!
(Please make sure to send us a mail before November 14!)
Remember: on this powerful day the results of virtuous activities will be increased 100 million times!
IN THE UPCOMING YEAR TUSHITA WILL CELEBRATE ITS 50th ANNIVERSARY!
We are preparing many special events for the whole year and our 2023 program will be on our website soon.
Please stay tuned..
The registrations for our long awaited Series of 8 Nyung Nays and 3-month Vajrasattva Retreat has opened now!
Your ongoing support for our projects and items on our Amazon Wish List is much appreciated. Thank you so much from our hearts!

About Tushita
Tushita is a centre for the study and practice of Buddhism from the Tibetan Mahayana tradition. We're located in Northern India, in the forested hills above the town of McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala - the seat in exile of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Tushita aims to provide a friendly and conducive environment for people of all nationalities and backgrounds to learn about and put into practice the teachings of the Buddha. With this in mind we offer regular drop-in events and courses on introductory Buddhist philosophy and meditation, as well as intermediate level courses and group retreats for more experienced students.
