Post-monsoon Season at Tushita
September 2025
Warm greetings from Tushita!

Monsoon started mid June and it was pretty intense this year! Nevertheless we continued with our program and since then we have welcomed around 800 students both residentially and non-residentially and hosted quite a few special events! Rejoice rejoice rejoice!
During these rainy months, we offered 6 Introduction to Buddhism courses, one advanced course with Geshe Kelsang Wangmo, one special course with Geshe Dorji Damdul, the 3-month Vajrasattva retreat and 3 short courses.

We also celebrated His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s 90th Birthday and were very happy to have Venerable Roger at Tushita for a few days in order to offer statues to His Holiness from FPMT part! Here you can find more pictures and details.

About Tushita
Tushita is a centre for the study and practice of Buddhism from the Tibetan Mahayana tradition. We're located in Northern India, in the forested hills above the town of McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala - the seat in exile of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Tushita aims to provide a friendly and conducive environment for people of all nationalities and backgrounds to learn about and put into practice the teachings of the Buddha. With this in mind we offer regular drop-in events and courses on introductory Buddhist philosophy and meditation, as well as intermediate level courses and group retreats for more experienced students.
