Chotrul Duchen 2022

March 18, 2022

The Tibetan festival day of Chotrul Duchen – the full moon day that marks the end of the 15 Days of Miracles.

His Holiness traditionally gives a short teaching from the Jataka Tales in the morning at the Main Tibetan Temple. See His Holiness schedule.

After a 2-year break (due to precautionary measures for the covid-19 situation) this is the first live engagements of His Holiness the Dalai Lama!!

This teaching can be also watched via Live Webcast @ 8 – 9am IST – don’t miss this very special opportunity!

This day is considered to be very auspicious for practice. To celebrate the occasion we will have a special online program at Tushita as part of our Days of Miracles program.

If you are not registered yet, please go to our Days of Miracles 2022 page, and click Register Online.

  • 4:00 – 5:30pm Teaching by Serkong Tsenshab Rinpoche on Integrating the Stages of the Path into Daily Practice

About Tushita

Tushita is a centre for the study and practice of Buddhism from the Tibetan Mahayana tradition. We're located in Northern India, in the forested hills above the town of McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala - the seat in exile of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

Tushita aims to provide a friendly and conducive environment for people of all nationalities and backgrounds to learn about and put into practice the teachings of the Buddha. With this in mind we offer regular drop-in events and courses on introductory Buddhist philosophy and meditation, as well as intermediate level courses and group retreats for more experienced students.
