November 4, 2023
On Lhabab Düchen we celebrate Shakyamuni Buddha’s descent from the God Realm of the Thirty-Three, after giving Dharma teachings for several months to the gods and his mother, Mayadevi.
This day is one of the four great holy days of the Tibetan calendar and is considered to be very auspicious for practice. Karmic results of actions are multiplied one hundred million times, as quoted by Lama Zopa Rinpoche from the vinaya text Treasure of Quotations and Logic.
To celebrate this meritorious occasion we will have a special program in person at Tushita and live on zoom – you’re most welcome to join us!
Drop in for any session! No registration needed and by donation.
