Dear Friends from India & around the world!
the start of our 2021 season on Losar day February 12th, the Tibetan New Year, is approaching quickly and with that the auspicious Days of Miracles!
Remember: on each of these 15 Days of Miracles the results of any virtuous activities are increased one hundred million times!!!
9 amazing teachers from different parts of India & around the world will join us for our special Losar celebrations – get ready to be inspired and to create skies of merit together.
SURPRISE: since Tushita is still in lockdown we will all come to your home!
On the merit-multiplying day of Chotrul Düchen we also present you & your loved ones with the unique opportunity to offer a butter lamp with your special dedication in this holy place!
And if you become best friends with your new guests, some will be very happy to return soon. And more new ones will join…
Check out our exciting spring program by clicking on the banners!
With the hope to welcome you all in person again after spring, we are planning to use the ongoing lockdown for some long awaited repair work of our gompa floor and the renovation of our student dorm shower / toilet facilities.
Your support for any of our projects and items on our wish lists is much appreciated – as a small token of our gratitude, we are still offering our kind sponsors a free fundraiser course.
A big THANK YOU to everyone for your ongoing love & support, and we hope to see you soon online!
With warm New Year’s wishes & much gratitude from the snowy hill,
the Tushita Team

About Tushita
Tushita is a centre for the study and practice of Buddhism from the Tibetan Mahayana tradition. We're located in Northern India, in the forested hills above the town of McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala - the seat in exile of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Tushita aims to provide a friendly and conducive environment for people of all nationalities and backgrounds to learn about and put into practice the teachings of the Buddha. With this in mind we offer regular drop-in events and courses on introductory Buddhist philosophy and meditation, as well as intermediate level courses and group retreats for more experienced students.
