Happy Saka Dawa to all of our dear friends from India & around the world!
Saka Dawa is the most important Tibetan Buddhist festival day – celebrating Shakyamuni Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and parinirvana!
Please feel most welcome to join us for a special teaching with the precious Serkong Tsenshab Rinpoche on this auspicious occasion.
On this merit-multiplying day we also present you & your loved ones with the unique opportunity to offer a butter lamp with your special dedication in this holy place! (A deadline to have a butterlamp offered on Saka Dawa is on May 24!)
And much more to come!
Making the very best of our second year in lockdown, we would like to present you with a great variety of wonderful online teaching events, courses and retreats for the upcoming months May to August 2021.
We are extremely honoured that Jhado Rinpoche and Yangten Rinpoche accepted our request to give online teachings for the first time at Tushita!
The continuing interest & dedication in the Dharma from so many of our faithful students has been truly heartwarming! Hearing your pleas for a way to come together, we are initiating the Tushita Together Practice Group.
Your support for any of our projects and items on our library wish list is much appreciated – as a small token of our gratitude, we are still offering our kind sponsors a free fundraiser course.
A big THANK YOU to everyone for your ongoing love & support, and we hope to see you soon online!
With warm greetings,
the Tushita Team

About Tushita
Tushita is a centre for the study and practice of Buddhism from the Tibetan Mahayana tradition. We're located in Northern India, in the forested hills above the town of McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala - the seat in exile of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
Tushita aims to provide a friendly and conducive environment for people of all nationalities and backgrounds to learn about and put into practice the teachings of the Buddha. With this in mind we offer regular drop-in events and courses on introductory Buddhist philosophy and meditation, as well as intermediate level courses and group retreats for more experienced students.
